A self-proclaimed scientific doodler who is nationality-confused and has lived in four countries (Japan, New Zealand, Australia, France) and happens to be a martial art practitioner with 30 years of experience. I am a research fellow doing  bioinformatics and biostatistics.

My research experience is a combination of laboratory-based molecular biology and computational biology. I completed a BSc in molecular biology, MSc in microbiology, PhD in fungal biotechnology. During my post doctoral research, I have been working in biotechnology, biophysics, cancer virology, human transcriptomics, and fungal multi-omics.
